Our school is part of a growing number, leading the way for school-led teacher training. This is really important to us because we have the opportunity to select and develop trainees into some of tomorrow’s best teachers: Being able to choose who we train in turn enables us to deliver the best outcomes for the students within our partnership schools.

Our ITT recruitment is managed by the nationally designated North Devon Teaching School Alliance; of which we are a partner school. Based in North Devon, the NDTSA has many years’ experience in providing a hugely successful training programme to support both Primary and Secondary phase students in their journey to teaching. Each host school has specialist staff, trained to offer ongoing support, in line with The University of Exeter’s model.

Vacancies are currently open, to start training from September 2021 and we would be very interested to hear from anyone who is thinking of becoming a teacher. We are looking for people who have (or will have) a Degree, along with a passion for teaching and the desire to inspire young people to fulfil their potential.

On the following dates NDTSA will be hosting virtual ‘Open Day’ Questions & Answers opportunities:-

1st March and 22nd March (16:00-16:30).
